Sure they're small like their land-locked counterparts, but hybrid boats have finally arrived with the launch of the Craigcat Hybrid.
The Craigcat Hybrid is very compact, sits two comfortably, and will run for eight hours on a single gallon of gas according to the company.
I guess the ultimate hybrid boat would be a large, fast powerboat that runs on sea gull droppings and seaweed.

They have existed for thousands of years.
They are called... Sailboats.
