Right now, there are several contests going on that give you a chance to win either a free fishing boat like the one pictured or a ton of boating gear. Three contests in particular are offering a combined forty thousand dollars in cash and prizes. All of these contests are sponsored by large, reputable organizations. If you don’t win, you may get an email or two from the sponsors – which are all clearly identified – but you can always opt out of their lists once you receive the first unwanted message. None of these contests look like the type of deal where you’re going to get cold calls from timeshare salespeople.
Keep reading for the three big contests and find out how to enter them.
Catch A Boat 3.0
The newest contest was just emailed to us yesterday from Take Me Fishing, part of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation. The cool part about the Take Me Fishing contest is that it is also an online fishing game, so it can actually be fun even if you don’t win. And, in addition to a $17,000 fishing boat package, you can win smaller prizes such as a West Marine gift card each day that you play. The best thing to do is play early and often.

Gone Fishin' Christmas Giveaway
If you don't like the boat above, or if you want to double your chances of winning a boat, check this out... You can also win a fishing boat package from Bass Pro Shops – a brand new, ready-to-fish Tracker worth about $15,000. The winner of this contest will be drawn on Christmas Eve, 12/24, so enter soon.

Check, Please
Do you already have a boat? Sea Tow knows how expensive a boat can be to maintain. That’s why they are giving away ten grand to use towards winter storage, fuel, a new outboard, or anything you want to spend it on. In fact, the official rules say the winner of this contest “will receive a check in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00)”, so the choice is really up to you if you win.

FirstBoat and the Daily Boater are not affiliated with any of these contests, so if you have any questions check each of the sponsor's "official rules" page for more info. If you enter any of these contests, or if you're hoping to get a new boat for Christmas, we wish you the best of luck! We'd love to hear from you about these contests or others like them - let us know if you win!
