Boat Shows in Norwalk, Lido, Daytona and More

At least a dozen boat shows are going on this weekend all over the world. Which one will you be going to?...

Every week around this time we write about all the weekend's upcoming boat shows so that if you can't get out on the water, at least you can still be around boats. The fall boat show season is raging, the crowds are coming out, and the boats and equipment vendors seem to be filling up the shows once again. We just came back from the Newport show and saw big crowds and got good feedback from both the attendees and vendors. Pictures? You bet: check them out on facebook.

This weekend's shows range from New England down to Florida and across to California. They are outside the US, too, in places like Monaco. Let's take a look at all the boat shows this weekend...

This Weekend's Boat Shows

In the USA

Norwalk Boat Show in our home state of Connecticut (Features a book signing with Abbey Sunderland!)
Michigan Boating and Outdoor Festival at Metro Beach Metropark
Lido Yacht Expo in Newport Beach, CA
Daytona Boat Show in, um, Daytona
International Antique and Classic Boat Show at Abbey Resort
Jersey Shore Boat Sale and Expo at First Energy Park
Florida Sportsman Fishing and Boat Show in Tampa
Around the World
Boat shows outside the US this weekend are no slouches either. In fact, they are some of the biggest in their respective countries. They include the following:
Boat Show at The Creek in North Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN
Slovenian Boat Show
Monaco Yacht Show
And the following two shows, which we told you about when they began last weekend, are still going on this weekend:
Southampton Boat Show in the UK,
INTERBOOT in Germany.

This past weekend we were on-site for the Newport International Boat Show, - our friends from Boat Name Gear were exhibiting there, and say they saw record crowds. There are a few new pictures from the show on BoatNameGear's Facebook page - make sure you check them out and give the Boat Name Gear page a "like"...
