Each Thursday we tell you about all the coming weekend's boating events, and this weekend there are plenty to report, including an exciting America's Cup World Series event in San Diego, and boat shows from Florida to New Zealand.

Feel free to jump right to our calendar of boating events at FirstBoat, or continue reading this article at the Daily Boater...

This Weekend's Boating Events
Fort Myers Boat Show
This gulf coast boat show includes both indoors and in-water displays, and runs today through Sunday in downtown Ft Myers, Florida.

Texas Yacht Show and Jazz Fest
Found this event via Bob Bitchin (founder/publisher of Latitudes & Attitudes) when he posted on LinkedIn that he was going to be attending. If Bob is going, you know a good time will be had at the show, which runs Friday through Sunday in Kemah, Texas. We won't be able to make it, but would love to hear feedback about the show.

America's Cup World Series San Diego
Racing in San Diego begins with the Port Cities Challenge this Saturday and Sunday (November 12-13). The championship portion of the America's Cup World Series - San Diego runs from Wednesday November 16 through Sunday November 20, and includes fleet and match racing, as well as AC500 Speed Trial drag races. The teams earn points from their final ranking in both the fleet and match racing events towards the 2011-2012 America's Cup World Series.

Waikawa Boat Show
This looks like a small upstart boat show in New Zealand, running Saturday and Sunday.

International Boat Show of Barcelona
It's your last chance to go to the week-long Salón Náutico, the International Boat Show of Barcelona. Spain's biggest boat show wraps up this Sunday.

Event Details, Directions, and More
As always, there are more details about these events - including links to the official websites - on our calendar of boat shows. If we missed an event in this article or on our calendar, please send us an email - boatshows@firstboat.com - or post it on the Daily Boater Facebook page.
